Business visit to Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, Kirill Zalessky, held negotiations in Riyadh with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Alswaha.

During the meeting, Kirill Zalessky noted the particular interest of Belarus in expanding cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the field of ICT and digitalization. The residents of the Hi-Tech Park play a special role here. The Minister of Communications and Informatization emphasized the interest of Belarusian IT companies in full-scale cooperation with their Saudi partners.

Abdullah Alswaha praised the success of the Belarus Hi-Tech Park in operating in international markets, noted the importance of cooperation between key players in this area, and invited Belarusian companies to establish their own permanent presence in Saudi Arabia.

The Parties emphasized the high potential of the Belarusian IT sector, which could contribute to implementation of the Kingdom's plans for digital transformation and become a driver of Belarus-Saudi cooperation.

Kirill Zalessky also visited the Digital Government Authority of Saudi Arabia, where learned about the activities of the innovation hub, which provides methodological, technological, and consulting support to government agencies in the development, testing, and implementation of digital services and solutions. During the business briefing, the HTP resident companies held presentations with an emphasis on their own digital products and solutions.

On December 8-9, the Minister of Communications and Informatization, Kirill Zalessky is visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the head of the Belarusian delegation comprising representatives of the Secretariat of the HTP Supervisory Board, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, and 14 HTP resident companies.
