The Belarusian postage stamp "Ancient postal routes" participates in the contest

All willing are invited to take part in the contest and support the Belarusian stamp!

From May 9 to September 9, 2020 the Association of European Public Postal Operators (PostEurop) holds a competition for the best postage stamp with EUROPA logo.

The theme 2020 is "Ancient postal routes".

The postage stamp was issued by the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus. Stamp depicts the postal route Krakow — Warsaw — Goradnya — Vilna, approved by the Grand Duke of Lithuania Stefan Batory in 1583. Against the background of the map there is a messenger holding a road sheet — a special travel document that noted the date, time and direction of departure of the messenger.

The technology of augmented reality is applied to the stamp. When you direct a Smartphone camera at the stamp, while the AR MARKA BELARUS application is running, a specially created script appears.

If you want to participate, go to the website www.posteurop.org/europa2020 and vote for the stamp you like.
