February 13 is World Radio Day proclaimed in 2011 by UNESCO member countries and approved in 2012 by the UN General Assembly. According to various international reports, radio continues to be one of the most respected and widely used media in the world. Therefore, World Radio Day 2022 is dedicated to the theme "Radio and Trust". Today in Belarus, 458 broadcasting transmitters of the very high-frequency range provide on-air broadcasting of state and commercial sound programs, including provincial and regional ones.
