REPUBLIC OF BELARUS BELONGS TO TOP 20 OF POSTAL DEVELOPMENT RANKING (2IPD)

The Integrated Index for Postal Development (2IPD) is assigned by the Universal Postal Union. It is an integrated index that provides a composite picture of postal development in all countries and regions based on four pillars: reliability, reach, relevance and resilience. All the data collected and processed accordingly determines the world ranking which is published every year. These four pillars provide a balanced view of postal development, without solely focusing on operational, strategic or societal matters.

Representative from Belarus Becomes International Letter-Writing Winner

The Award Ceremony presenting the winner of the 49th International Letter-Writing Competition sponsored by the Universal Postal Union has taken place during the celebration of the World Post Day on the 9th of October 2020.

The representative from Belarus Volha Valchkevich, an 11-years-old pupil living in Grodno city has won the first place in the International Letter-Writing Competition in 2020. Her letter is the most powerful and poignant.

114 years and counting: ITU Radio Regulations updated

ITU released an updated version of the world’s only international treaty governing the global use of radio-frequency spectrum and satellite orbits: The Radio Regulations.

Entering into force on 1 January 2021, the latest edition of the ITU Radio Regulations are the result of a 4-year process that culminated in four weeks of exhaustive international negotiations held at the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-19) last year in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

The unified portal of e-services increases the number of users

Today, through the unified portal of e-services 157 electronic services are available to users, by which 113 types of e-services and 44 types of administrative procedures can be obtained. Stable interaction with 30 state information resources and systems is ensured.

The “One Window” software package, to which more than 790 organizations are connected, performs 202 types of administrative procedures.

The system of interdepartmental electronic document flow of state bodies covers about 13.3 thousand Belarusian organizations and departments.

Unified register of licenses operates in the Republic of Belarus

The Unified Register of Licenses was created on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated September 2, 2019 No. 326 "On improving licensing". The norms established in the Decree are aimed at eliminating excessive regulation, optimizing licensing procedures, simplifying the requirements and conditions for license applicants and licensees. Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated June 24, 2020 No. 365 approved the regulation on the procedure for the establishment and operation of the Unified Register of Licenses.

At the request of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization, a rating portal was developed for organizations providing services that ensure the livelihoods of the population and (or) carrying out administrative procedures.

At present , the rating portal is constantly functioning and is available on the Internet at качество-услуг.бел , for the convenience of using this portal, citizens have created and use its mobile version.
